I was surprised when I entered a Google search on
"abused men weblog" and found over 13,000 entries all over the the world, including some 2,000 in Australia.
Apparently, telling the story of abuse in a weblog has been as cathartic and soothing for many others as it has been for me.
There are millions of weblogs, of course, and 13,000 abused men is not an huge number. But its growing. I hope that many more men use the Net to find the voice that abuse denies them in their homes and families.
